Resistance for a cause is not futile
however simple its form.
Individuality seems chaotic,
free will threatening
when hubris has solidified
a viewpoint into a mandate
for everyone else.
If love and nature have chosen
to express themselves in a form,
its viewpoint is sacred,
its life inviolable,
its choice unlimited.
If a mandate is carried out by Force,
the touch of grace fades from it
and resistance becomes
necessity
in defense of the forms
without the will or ability
to deny another.
